So, If I have understood well, you select the best shoot and peek in Exiftool the "Focus Step Count" value of it and then compare to it the deviation of all the other shoots. On my windows 7 machine I put the ExifTool Gui on my C drive outside of the windows folder and then put exiftool inside the ExifTool Gui folder. I moved the command line version to the same folder as the GUI version - still no joy. I've been running an old version for a couple of years and thought it was time to update.īTW, I tried installing the GUI version, which I've never tried before, but it opens with an error telling me that it can't find EXIFtools - even though I've 'installed' the cmd line version and it works. Program>About shows it picked up the 12.41 version, using my old trusty Windows 7 machine. Not quite as nice as the Gui version, but it works.Ĭopied the 12.41 version into the same folder as ExifTool GUI and it seems to be working. You can create a txt file of the output with the "Ctrl" key + A and Enter.
The Windows version is easy to use by just putting the EXE file on the desktop and dropping the orf file on the icon. Thanks for this! Do you happen to know if it works with ExifTool GUI?
